TruHD Cat 6 HDBaseT Cable
These Cat 6 cables have been tested and recommended by the HDBaseT Alliance making it the ideal choice for high speed data networks across a home or building. The HDBaseT standard allows distribution of uncompressed full HD video, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power and control across a single cable.
Available in both PVC or LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) the Cat 6 HDBaseT range is offered in a selection of different colours and all are stocked in 305 metre pull boxes for easy handling and stacking.
Subject to the manufacturer, some of the cables in this range are UV & weather resistant to ISO 4892-3.

Category cables incorporate various screening types to reduce EMI. The terminology used in the industry can be very confusing, so we have put together some diagrams to better explain the terms we use. For more information, take a look at the different screening types here.
U/UTP
U/UTP This cable is not shielded at all
U/FTP
U/FTP No overall shielding or braid (U) with foil screened twisted pairs (FTP)
F/UTP
F/UTP An overall foil shield (F) with unscreened twisted pairs (UTP)
S/UTP
S/UTP An overall braid screen (S) with unscreened twisted pairs (UTP)
SF/UTP
SF/UTP Both an overall braid screen (S) and foil shield (F) with unscreened twisted pairs (UTP)
F/FTP
F/FTP An overall foil shield (F) with foil screened twisted pairs (FTP)
S/FTP
